Hey ladies, this is one of the most difficult tasks for all humans. Our heart likes to hold on to hard feelings, especially in regards to another person. Deep down, the grudge has been a revenge mechanism, as if you could make the person who hurt you suffer somehow… #But you can’t. You’re the one who suffers.
You’ve heard this so much, that it’s annoying, but you still think it’s impossible to forgive what they did to you. That’s because you don’t know that forgiveness is a decision you take. Just as you decided to stop here and read this post today. #It’s as simple as that! You don’t need to feel like reading the post, but you’re reading it just the same. It’s right here in front of you, you don’t have anything else to do at the moment, and it doesn’t cost a thing. What about you do the same thing with that grudge that you hold on to?
How about deciding that you’re going to rid yourself of it today? Yes, I know you don’t even like to remember what that person did, but so what? You’ll never forget what happened, but you can decide that you won’t keep remembering it anymore…
When I am hurt by someone and feel something bad towards them, I do something that works wonders: I pray for that person! There are a lot of people who hate me in this world. But if I were to hold a grudge against all of them, I would be a pool of bitterness, #and that’s not worth it! I prefer to be happy, and I would like you to make that same decision.
So there goes the challenge for this month. And if you don’t think you hold a grudge against anyone, think about the people you don’t even like to speak to – and pray for them – that’s also a grudge in disguise #sorry (I promise that’s the last hashtag for today.)
Kisses and stay in the faith!
