Darlings,
I hope that this week was productive for you!
I don’t know if you noticed while doing the #taskasanoffering4, but it’s good to take some time for yourself. You know, sometimes the impression we have is that we are being selfish, lazy or relaxed. While everyone is so busy, you are taking care of yourself… but if you did this task you noticed that while taking care of ourselves, we take care of the people around us and our responsibilities a lot better!
Take a look:

The #taskasanoffering5 is similar, except it will be a different care, it will be an inner care.
When we talk about taking care of yourself, the first thing that comes to mind is appearance, in resting and shopping lol… but there is a much more important and profitable care than this, that has a great connection with appearance, it is taking care of our spirit. If our spirit is not good, our face will suffer, even with a new look and a lot of makeup. This is the care that you will have this week (and I hope that for the rest of your life from today on).
The first and last thing that you will do every day is pray. You will talk to God. First you will pray the Lord’s Prayer, and then you will ask Him for those more specific things like helping you speak with someone, to open the doors for a better job, help with the day’s exams, to touch those who are not well, to heal you from that pain or illness, and so on… In the beginning of the day, you will pray for that day and at the end of the day, you will thank God for that day.
Let’s take a look at how the Lord’s Prayer covers everything we need on a daily basis:
Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. Matthew 6:9-14
Let’s meditate on it…
Our Father who is in heaven – here it is clear that we are praying to the Father and not anyone else. It is with Him that we are talking, what a privilege! We are talking with the Creator of heaven and earth, God almighty, who is also our Father!
Hallowed be Your name – notice the fear when talking to Him, recognizing that He is Holy and therefore we are not talking to just anyone. We have to have respect when talking to our Father.
Your Kingdom come – there are two kingdoms in this world: the kingdom of God and the devil’s kingdom. But the devil’s kingdom is the one that stand out the most, it’s what is in most of the media, it’s in displays and receives applauses, it’s what can be done wrong, right and what’s right, wrong. But the kingdom of God is often omitted, since many who are part of it are shy… wherever we are, the kingdom of God must be visible.
Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven – before asking anything, before wanting anything, let God’s will be done. This is recognizing that He is Lord and not us!
Give us this day our daily bread – in other words, what is meant for today, to come. Let’s not worry about tomorrow, we will not be anxious, but live the present, we take care of the present so that the future can be profitable.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors – this means that we are always in error with Him and so we need to recognize our flaws daily, we must always be well with our God and with others who fail with us. Never, ever holding resentment or grudges.
And do not lead us into temptation – temptation comes from our own greed, that means that in order for us not to be led into temptation, we need to stop lusting which leads us to temptation. If we do not deal with our lusts, God will lead us to temptation to expose it!
But deliver us from the evil one – The Lord Jesus teaches us to pray so that our Father can deliver us from evil, which means that evil is everywhere and we need His protection from above daily. We are not self-sufficient!
For Yours is the kingdom – always recognizing that He is the Lord of this kingdom, that is, we are subject to Him.
And the power – The power is His, all that we have achieved, we have because He gave us the conditions to conquer.
And the glory – All honor is due to Him, not us! Don’t expect honor or recognition from others, know that He is the Father and He honors those who honor Him.
Forever – Not just today, not just when everything is going well for you, but when all is not the way you wanted… always, is always!
Amen – this word means “may it be done” that is, you are determined that what you just prayed for will happen, no doubt, but in faith.
If the Lord Jesus taught us to pray like this, it is because we have to pray like this as well. Do this and share in your social networks with the #taskasanoffering5 what you achieved by praying daily in the morning and night… you will be amazed!
